I evaluate about 5-10 opportunities a day. What a great honor and privilege! You know what’s really challenging? I say no to about 5-10 opportunities a day. Seriously.

Something cool happened when I said “no” to someone last night. They were really nice about it, even though it was disappointing, and said they respected it and were reminded of this quote. That’s pretty cool. People in the Cardano community amaze me every day.

I’m working really hard to focus because I think it’s a huge part of success. How about you? Are you intentional about saying no to the 100 other good ideas?

Cardano is making global headlines, so the In The News items are about Cardano too!

1. Changing the world isn’t just a nice sentiment. The Monetary Authority of Singapore is looking to develop retail Central Bank Digital Currency solutions.

   Input Output put forth a proposal “to address the offline transaction problem to help developing regions where online transactions are still often impossible and on-chain transactions are too expensive.” Not a surprise, it was one of 15 finalists selected out of over 300 submissions!

2. Cardano topped $3 for the first time! It was a big enough milestone that even CoinDesk covered it.

And there’s so much that’s going on, you get an extra Cardano update on top of it!

1. The Cardano Testnet has been successfully upgraded with Alonzo smart contracts! Less than 10 days until smart contracts are on Mainnet!

   Yesterday, we upgraded the #Cardano testnet, successfully deploying #Plutus #smartcontracts capability. The focus now is on final component testing & exchange integrations, ahead of the #Alonzo mainnet upgrade, still on track for deployment on 12 September 💪 #Cardano $ADA

   

2. Ada Handle is an exciting new project to simplify the process of sending and receiving Cardano ADA. It has the potential to become really big in my opinion.

   I went out of my way to talk to the team so that I could secure the @CardanoDan handle. I recommend you join the waitlist so that you can get your handle early.

Technical Analysis / Price Discussion

Wednesday I talked about the flagpole and pennant that had formed. Yesterday, Cardano ADA broke out of the pennant and crossed $3 for the first time ever!

ADA is currently performing a retest of the breakout. This is prototypical stuff. If you were trading this move, you’d be buying right now and putting a stop below one of the lows of the pennant.

I’m expecting this retest to hold support and to follow-through on the next move of the measured move like we discussed last time. Moderate to high confidence, but as you know, in crypto, anything can happen.
