Some video games have shortcuts. People spend all sorts of time looking for them because they can make it possible to beat your competitors or set new world records.

The thing is, life isn’t like a video game. All of the places that are worth going to require time (at least), hard work (almost certainly) and often passing through difficulty and challenges to get to them.

It reminds me of the book The Pilgrim’s Progress. There are so many great lessons in that book. But one of them that’s easy to remember, “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.”

In The News

1. A pension fund for Texas firefighters invested $25M in Bitcoin and Ethereum. The fund’s chief investment officer said, “It became an asset class we could not ignore anymore.” Darn right.

2. Robinhood’s crypto wallet waitlist has hit 1 million people. It’s a shame that people are waiting on that to be able to hold their own crypto. Not your keys, not your coins.

1. Voting on Project Catalyst Fund 6 is now complete! Thanks to everyone that is participating in the world’s largest DAO. You make Cardano better by doing so.

2. Wednesday, we announced that the Zombie Chains NFT drop will be on October 27th at 1600 UTC!

Technical Analysis / Price Discussion

Bitcoin broke through it’s prior all time high earlier this week, suckered people into leveraged long positions, and then the markets promptly dumped and liquidated at least some of those positions.

Now Bitcoin is playing around with its prior all time high like I said was possible in the last newsletter. That provides a nice opportunity for Cardano ADA to run a little bit.

And I expect ADA to take advantage of that opportunity. I’m tracking the two fractals in the chart below and expecting ADA to make a move higher before the middle of next week. What do you think? Tell me in the comments!
