Quote of the Day
“It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.”
― Charles Spurgeon
Some of the happiest people I know don’t “have” a lot; but, they know how to enjoy life in a big way. I want to be like that.
I want to enjoy more and seek things less. I know in my head that this is the path to true happiness, but our world trains us to be materialistic and I buy in too often.
God, help me to seek you and people more and things and money less.
In The News
The Federal Reserve has announced that it will start tapering bond purchases later this month.
Democrats continue trying to find a way to pass their Infrastructure and Build Back Better bills but are struggling to find a way to do that.
Cardano Updates
Nami Wallet introduced hardware wallet support for the first time! This is great news for many people that use Nami. There are some features not currently supported (such as smart contracts and signing data). See the second tweet in the thread below for current limitations.
Sundae Swap announced their concurrency solution which includes a role for Stake Pool Operators. It’s pretty exciting stuff. Unfortunately, SPOs must apply and effectively KYC (real name required) to be chosen to participate. Seems like a centralized DeFi solution at the moment - that’s disappointing.
Nevertheless, the frequency of Cardano DEX-related news is picking up steam and that bodes well for the coming weeks.
Technical Analysis / Price Discussion
If you zoom in, you can see Cardano ADA barting around inside of a tight range. When you zoom out, you see ADA filling in a gap in the Volume Profile in a really healthy way.
It could drop to $1.80 to fill in more volume a little lower and that would still be fine. Alternatively, it could move higher at any time. With the increasing indications that DEXs aren’t too far way, I’m seeing a light at the end of the tunnel for this consolidation period.
