Quote of the Day
“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
— Napoleon Bonaparte
I can’t say I’ve ever really thought about this before. However, there’s something intuitive about it.
None of us want enemies, but if you have one, and they’re making a mistake - it seems foolish to jump in and interrupt them (unless of course God asks you to - that would be a love your enemies kind of moment).
I find quotes like this - something I’ve never thought about but that seems obvious - interesting to ponder.
Key Takeaways from the Past Week
Monday - Tipping Point
Monday we discussed Tipping Points and touched base with Charles in an AMA for the first time since his return from Africa.
Wednesday - Tremendously Interested
Mid-week I shared how passionate I am about blockchain and how keeping tremendously interested in it has been really great for me.
Friday - Freedom Is
Friday I shared some of my thoughts about freedom in light of current events. Freedom of speech is important, but I think freedom extends beyond just speech.
Technical Analysis
As of the time of this newsletter, it’s been a down week for Cardano ADA so far. That makes it sound like a simple week.
But emotionally for many people, it hasn’t been simple. ADA dropped as much as 19% from its high early in the week to its low below the 200D EMA.
Since that low, Cardano ADA has regained as much as 15% for a weekly drop as little as 3-4%. A very normal daily gain for crypto could move Cardano into a weekly gain before the end of the current trading day.
I share all that to say, zoom out. The 200D EMA has been wonderful support for ADA in this bull market and I expect it to prove the same now.
Looking at the crypto majors performance since March 2020 lows. Nothing new significant things happening on this chart this week.
Finally, looking at the market cap ratios against Bitcoin and Ethereum… nothing new happening with this set of charts either. Not much new to say - ADA continues to remain on top of support levels in both pairs.
That’s it for the weekly recap. Hope you all have a great rest of your weekend!
