Quote of the Day
"If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and be without flavor."
— Eleanor Roosevelt
Predictability can be really boring. If you’re looking for a flavorful life, crypto has that in spades!
The trick to enjoying the flavorful life is setting yourself up to enjoy it. Invest what you can afford to lose. Don’t use use leverage. Invest in quality projects. Develop a plan. Stick to your plan. (These are all things I’ve talked about numerous times in my newsletters.)
Once you’ve done all of those things, then sit back and relax and enjoy the journey. The past week has been horrible for people that didn’t set themselves up well. For others, it’s been a flavorful adventure. The down days are just as much a part of life as the up days. All of them are unpredictable. My hope and wish for you is that you can put yourself in a position to enjoy the flavor of life.
In The News
The narrative around the coronavirus has been shifting A LOT lately. All the way to the point where Fauci was quoted recently as saying, "I am not convinced [the virus developed naturally], I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened."
This story has all sorts of long-term geopolitical implications. You should pay attention to how it develops over the coming weeks and months.
Jeffrey Epstein’s prison guards admitted to falsifying records the night of his “suicide.” Only a third of Americans believe Epstein committed suicide.
I find it appalling that we as a country would let powerful people cover their tracks for some really awful behavior without any consequences.
Speaking of powerful people connected to Epstein, Bill Gates has been in the news because of his divorce, his connection to Epstein and his connection to vaccination programs.
Gates’s carefully crafted image is falling apart as it turns out he may not be the squeaky clean philanthropist you might have thought.
These are all very big news stories in and of themselves, but they’re all connected too. I encourage you to pay attention to how the big news events of the day are connected to one another. More often then not, there are connections that are subtle and important.
Cardano Updates
Cardano reached a HUGE milestone! There are now more than 1 Million Cardano ADA wallets!
Ready for a prediction? I think we’ll see 1 Billion, yes billion with a b, wallets this decade.
Charles Hoskinson’s famous YouTube video also reach the 1 Million milestone! Over 1 million people have viewed the seminal overview of Cardano.
This is THE video that got me hooked on Cardano. I highly recommend you watch it if you haven’t yet. I’ve viewed it 3 or 4 times through the years. Some of it is outdated, but the overall concepts remain relevant.
Technical Analysis
I remain convinced that we’re in a bull market still and looking for additional upside. If you want some of the thoughts and reasoning for that, please revisit some of my recent newsletters.
Looking at the situation coming out of this weekend…
If you take the March 2020 lows up to the May 2021 highs, there are some very clear fibonacci retracement levels that Cardano ADA has been respecting.
.618 is a very important pivot / reversal level and ADA has retraced almost all the way back to that level. That’s also the level that the 200D EMA is at right now.
Cardano ADA is so strong compared to other cryptocurrencies at the moment that I wouldn’t be surprised if ADA doesn’t make it all the way to the .618 level before markets reverse back to bullish. In fact, I think it may have already happened.
If not though, I’ll be looking to add to my bag between $.90 & $1.00 ADA levels.
What do you think? Is the pullback over?
